ABOUT MIKE
Mike hails from the USA. He has a special ability to combine his knowledge of music, functional anatomy, physics, and a plethora of dance forms to create classes that are uniquely insightful, inspiring, and challenging. Mike strives to put himself in his students’ shoes so that he can teach as intuitively and thoroughly as possible. He loves seeing students’ eyes light up when they understand a concept or feel a movement worknaturally in their body for the first time.
Mike has taught in 21 countries and counting.
He currently teaches Lindy Hop, solo Jazz, air steps, many different Blues styles, Balboa, and more.
Mike lives and breathes dance. He is constantly honing his skills and developing new ideas. If you run into him at a grocery store, an airport, a museum, or a mountain top, you’ll probably catch him dancing!

COURSE AIMS
By the end of this course you will be able to:
Dance in the lean-to connection, maintaining a solid frame and core activation
Add independent footwork variations while dancing in the lean-to connection, including back slides, V-slides and triple step variations
Add a variety of turns to your Struttin’
Add dynamic sweeps to your Struttin’
Add a dynamic spin while dancing in a lean-to position
Improvise and add your own innovations within the Struttin’ aesthetic
