COURSE AIMS

By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Dance the Slow Drag and describe a lottle about the dances hostory
  • Play with your body shape when dancing the Slow Drag
  • Dance the Grind using both single and half time
  • Dance the (non-funky) Funky Butt
  • Add Hips Swings to your dancing
  • Add Hip Tilts to your dancing
  • Dance a move known as ‘Belly Rubbing
  • Dance the Messaround in close embrace with different options of rotational direction
  • Maintain an intimate, connected feeling with your partner and dance al of the above movements in close embrace and in opposition
  • Understand that sometimes LESS IS MORE
